Just Do It!

Recently, I went to Kansas City with some girlfriends to get some new spring clothes. I left the NIKE outlet with some new workout t-shirts. Of course, one says, "Just Do It."

Today I got to thinking what is "it". I'm sure when Nike wrote the slogan they intended it to be anything that pushes you out of your comfort zone.

I think my JUST DO IT right now is running a half marathon. I have done 8K's, I'm getting ready for a 10K, and I will willingly sign up for things like that, but when it comes to running 13.1 miles, I shy away. I think I can't. There's no way. I think it's about time for me to Just Do It.

So what is your "Just Do It."? What do you wish you would just get out there and do? Do you have plans to JUST DO IT? Tell me!


  1. No...I've done it. I suppose the closest I could come is that I would just like to maintain this lifestyle FOREVER. There are sixty-five year old women running on the track some days right next to me, and they are fast. I work out with a fifty year old that is totally hot. I'm thin and in shape, and I am running as far as I care too and lifting weights as often as I want to. I can see some fitness vacations in my future, but that is about it.

  2. I'm doing the Salty Dog Triathlon in Hutch in August...I'm terrified!
